General
What is functional medicine?
Functional medicine is an integrative, individualized approach that seeks to identify and address the root causes of disease rather than just managing symptoms. It combines traditional diagnostics with functional testing and holistic strategies including nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and targeted therapies to help restore optimal health.
How is this different from conventional care?
Unlike conventional care that often focuses on symptom management, our approach emphasizes prevention and personalized root-cause care. We dedicate longer visit times, integrate lifestyle and nutrition guidance into every treatment plan, and work with you as a partner in your health journey rather than simply prescribing quick fixes.
Do you accept insurance?
Starting February 2026, we will accept most major commercial insurance plans for primary care visits. Functional medicine services are available as private pay. We do not currently accept Medicaid or MassHealth. Our team will always review costs and coverage with you before ordering services.
Appointments & Access
Do you offer virtual visits?
Yes! We offer telehealth appointments for follow-ups, nutrition consultations, lifestyle guidance, and select consults. Virtual visits are available for patients located in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
How do I get started?
The best way to begin is by booking a free 15-minute discovery call. During this call, we'll discuss your health goals and determine the best path forward for your care. Book your discovery call here.
Where are you located?
Our clinic is located at 463 Worcester Road, Suite 103, Framingham, MA 01701. We also offer virtual visits for patients throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Functional Medicine
Will I have to take supplements?
Not necessarily. Supplements are recommended only when appropriate for your specific goals and health needs. When supplements are indicated, we use practitioner-grade products to ensure quality and efficacy. Your treatment plan is always personalized to you.
How long until I see results?
Many patients begin to notice positive changes within 1 to 3 months, though every health journey is unique. The timeline depends on your specific conditions, how long they've been present, and your commitment to the recommended lifestyle and treatment plan.
Is functional medicine covered by insurance?
Some visits and standard labs may be covered by your insurance plan. However, advanced functional testing and membership perks typically fall outside standard insurance coverage. We provide transparent pricing and will always review costs with you before ordering any tests or services.
Membership
What are the membership tiers?
We offer three tiers designed to meet you where you are: Core Primary Care ($0), Functional Wellness ($99/mo), and Functional Medicine Elite ($199/mo). Each tier includes different levels of access, testing, and support. Visit our membership page for full details on what's included in each tier.
Can my family join?
Yes! We offer family discounts across all membership tiers. We believe whole-family health matters and want to make our services accessible for everyone in your household.
Testing
Are advanced tests covered by insurance?
Some standard laboratory tests may be covered by your insurance plan. Functional and specialty tests are typically cash-based, with transparent pricing that is always reviewed with you before any tests are ordered. We work to ensure there are no surprises.
Do I need to fast before testing?
It depends on the specific test being ordered. Some tests require fasting while others do not. We'll provide you with detailed preparation instructions when your tests are ordered so you know exactly what to expect.
