Sailaja Reddy
MD, IFMCP, ABoIMI help patients address chronic symptoms by identifying root causes and empowering change through lifestyle, nutrition, and advanced diagnostics. Starting February 2026, I will integrate this work into an insurance-based primary care model to improve accessibility and care continuity.
Raised on natural remedies and now trained in the most advanced forms of internal and functional medicine, I've dedicated my career to helping patients heal beyond symptoms. Combining conventional primary care with personalized lifestyle-based preventive strategies, I believe that health is cultivated — not prescribed.
Small habits. Deep healing. Vibrant health.
Why I Became a Physician
I always believed that medicine should not only treat disease — it should nurture health. Growing up, I watched loved ones battle chronic ailments that conventional medicine addressed symptom by symptom, rarely getting to the root cause. After decades of traditional practice, I discovered functional medicine — a way to combine scientific medicine with a deeper understanding of nutrition, lifestyle, and the body's innate capacity to heal. My own near-life-threatening autoimmune experience made this not just a professional choice, but a personal calling.
My Approach to Care
When you come to RootHealthMD, you're not just another name on a schedule. I take the time to listen — your history, your fears, your hopes — so I can build a personalized plan that treats the whole you: mind, body, and environment. I believe that true healing involves reconnecting with nature, nourishing your body thoughtfully, and making lifestyle changes that last.
Patients often tell me how different it feels to be heard, and how empowering it is to finally make sense of confusing symptoms. Many have regained energy, resolved chronic gut issues, or found renewed hope through personalized nutrition and support.
A Little About Me
When I'm not in clinic, you'll often find me in my kitchen garden or experimenting with whole-food recipes, exploring seasonal produce, and coaching patients and friends on healing through nourishment. I believe cooking is a form of self-care — and that true wellness starts at the roots.
